Tonight we made our way through the bright halls of Will Rogers International Airport, ready to visit travelers beginning their journeys. The air buzzed with rolling suitcases, boarding calls, and excited voices. In the Military Welcome Center, we met several young recruits preparing to head off to Fort Sill. One of the volunteers had baked her famous cookies and brownies — her special tradition, a little sweetness before these young men and women begin ten tough weeks of boot camp where treats like that won’t be waiting.
They couldn’t stop talking about how big Holly was. A few of the recruits even laughed when they realized she weighed more than they did!
We stopped to see our airport friends — the ones we visit every week. It had been a long, busy day for them, and seeing Holly felt like a tiny break in the middle of the rush. Their smiles came quickly, and Holly soaked up every pat and scratch.
Down by the reservation desk, a few children spotted us. They had been looking for Holly at the gates, and when they finally saw her, they lit up like little lanterns. They told everyone around them, proudly showing off the special sticker Holly gave them — the one that says they met her today. Soon the whole area was filled with giggles and bright smiles, the kind that spread from one person to the next like sunshine.
And just like that, another airport evening turned into a small adventure — full of kindness, courage, and the simple joy of meeting a very special fluffy friend.
A little Paw-Mail from Holly!

Tonight my humans took me on a grand adventure to the airport! They keep trying to teach me how to press the elevator button with my nose. My nose. My perfect, fluffy, princess‑snoot. I told them (with my most dramatic side‑eye) that I am not booping that button. But I humor them because they give me snacks.
But ohhh, the rest of the night was magical.
We take the elevator now because a few months ago I tried the escalator… and a traveler stepped on my paw by accident. I forgave them, but the escalator? Nope. That thing is a metal monster with moving teeth. Elevators only for this girl.

My human said I was “spoiled rotten,” but I prefer the term “ special.” First stop: Starbucks. My friends there gave me two whole pup cups. TWO! My human said I could have one now and one later after I finished my work down the gates.
I agreed… even though I had already nibbled on a peanut butter cookie at the Military Welcome Center. I might need a diet, but I’m a Great Pyrenees — I’m not chubby, I’m cloud‑shaped!
My humans handed out lots of my stickers and trading cards. Travelers smiled, laughed, and told me they were glad they flew today so they could meet me. I shed a lot because it was hot, but that’s not shedding — that’s doggie glitter. And everyone loves glitter!
On the way home, we stopped for tacos, and the nice girl at the drive‑thru gave me ANOTHER pup cup… but this time it was real ice cream. REAL. ICE. CREAM. I may be turning into a round, fluffy marshmallow, but honestly? Totally worth it.
