One Dog’s Journey: Spreading Comfort Worldwide

Artistic globe showing continents with colorful paw prints and stars

I’m so excited to share a huge milestone for Holly and her Comfort Crew — her website is now being read in SIX different countries!

What started as a simple way to document her therapy dog adventures in Oklahoma City has now reached people across the world. Readers from different cultures, languages, and backgrounds are following Holly’s journey, smiling at her airport hugs, cheering for her library visits, and feeling the warmth she brings to every person she meets.

It’s a beautiful reminder of something we see every day: one dog, with one gentle heart, can change lives — not just in her community, but everywhere her story travels.

Holly may not know what “international readership” means, but she does know how to make people feel loved, seen, and comforted. And now, that feeling is spreading far beyond Oklahoma.

Thank you to everyone who reads, shares, and supports Holly’s mission. Your kindness helps her kindness reach even farther.

Here’s to more adventures — and more hearts touched around the world. 💛🐾

A little Paw-Mail from Holly!

Wow… just WOW. I never expected humans from all over the world to start reading about my adventures! Well… still — SIX countries! That’s a lot of places for one fluffy girl from Oklahoma.

I do think my adventures are pretty fun. I meet so many nice people, and the kids — young ones, big ones, even the grown‑up ones — get so excited when my humans hand out my stickers and trading cards. They put the stickers on right away, like they can’t wait even one more second. That always makes my tail wag extra big.

Tonight at the airport, I met a little boy who made my heart feel extra warm. He told my human that the next dog he gets, he wants to train them to be a therapy dog just like me! I tried to stand a little taller when he said that.

My human told him all about my certifications with the American Kennel Club (AKC) and how important it is for a therapy dog to be well‑behaved. She explained that having the AKC Canine Good Citizen title helps, but the most important thing is how a dog reacts to strangers. Good thing I love strangers. They’re just friends I haven’t hugged yet.

She also told him that when I go to hospitals, I’m not allowed to pick things up off the floor — just in case someone dropped medicine. That would be very bad for me. I take my job seriously, even if do look like a big fluffy marshmallow.

The little boy smiled so big, and then he came back over to see if he could teach me how to shake hands. A little secret? I already knew how. But I let him pretend he was teaching me, because it made him feel proud. And honestly, I like seeing humans happy.

After that, we walked all the way down to the end of the terminal and then headed back. A few people said they’re going to start following my adventures now. I think that’s wonderful — and I can’t wait to see where in the world people are reading about me next.

From Oklahoma City to everywhere else… I’m just one dog doing my best to make the world a little softer, one wag and one smile at a time. 🐾💛
