Tonight, Will Rogers Airport felt extra magical — and by magical, I mean Holly trotted in like she was clocking in for her shift as Chief Happiness Officer. Travelers from San Antonio, Chicago, Phoenix, California… basically everywhere except Snackville… spotted her instantly. Their faces lit up like they’d just bumped into their emotional support bestie. Holly soaked up every smile like it was her paycheck.
As usual, she made her rounds to her regular fan club. The reservation desk crew greeted her like she was the coworker who actually keeps morale high. TSA Aaron gave her his signature “Hey girl!” and a VIP ear scratch. CLEAR employees acted like she was the highlight of their entire shift — which, let’s be honest, she absolutely was.
Then came the new recruits heading to Fort Sill — nervous, excited, trying to look tough but definitely not fooling Holly. She walked up, wagged once, and boom: instant relaxation. She leaned in, they melted. Holly basically ran a free emotional support clinic right there in the terminal.
By the time she finished her rounds, Holly had lifted the spirits of travelers, employees, and soldiers alike. She didn’t just walk through the airport tonight — she sprinkled comfort, connection, and joy like a four‑legged fairy godmother with a security clearance leaving doggie glitter behind….
A Little Paw-Mail from Holly!
Tonight I strutted into Will Rogers Airport like I owned the place — because, let’s be honest, I basically do. I saw people coming and going from everywhere: San Antonio, Chicago, Phoenix, California… you name it. Meanwhile, I’m just wondering why no one’s flying to the most important destination — Snackville, Gate Treat‑42. Priorities, people!
My regular friends were all there, of course. The reservation desk crew waved like I was a celebrity. TSA Aaron gave me his usual “Hey girl!” greeting, and the CLEAR employees acted like I was the highlight of their shift. I mean, I probably was. It’s not my fault that I’m adorable.

The small children were the most excited. They ran up to me like I was the final boss of cuteness and proudly slapped on their “I Met Holly!” stickers. Some of them put the stickers on their shirts, some on their backpacks, even put them on their parents and one kid tried to put his on my forehead. I let him. Branding is important.

The big kids — you know, the teenagers and some adults— were obsessed with the trading cards. Several of them said they wanted to “sign up to receive my posts,” which sounded very official, like maybe I’m running a newsletter or a global fan club. I didn’t totally get it, but my human explained that she translates my thoughts and writes them down so everyone can read them. So basically… I guess she is like my personal google translator. Very fancy. I should probably get her a tiny clipboard so she can take good notes.
Not everyone was having the best night, though. Some travelers were grumpy about delayed flights, others looked like they’d been walking since 2003 and still had miles to go. Then one woman looked at me and said, “You’re a big dog!” Ma’am… excuse me? I am not a big dog — I’m fluffily aerodynamic. There’s a difference. You don’t just go around weight‑shaming therapy dogs; it’s rude. Although, to be fair, I do enjoy my treats and pup cups from Starbucks. And let’s not forget the Military Welcome Center’s cookies — five‑star quality — and the Delta crew? Always stocked with dog bones. I’m basically running a snack review blog at this point.

Some of the reservation desk folks and a few travelers needed extra hugs today, and I was more than happy to provide them. I gave out comfort like it was buy‑one‑get‑one‑free day. Tail wags, leaning in, soft eyes—the whole Holly package.

It was so embarrassing tonight — suddenly the airport intercom blasts, “Holly, your humans forgot their tumbler at Gate 8.” I looked up at them and said really?… really!?….. My humans really need to be more responsible. They better NEVER forget me, because I’m the one holding this whole operation together and I don’t have a way to call for an uber! I just stood there like, wow, we’re doing personal shout‑outs now? My human had to walk all the way back to get it while I stayed in Osteria, socializing like the airport’s unofficial mayor. Honestly, at this point, they should just hand me my own PA system so I can make announcements properly.
I helped a lot of people tonight. That’s my job. And honestly? I’m really good at it! I then went home and took a nap with my favorite stuffed toy. It is a polar bear. Imagine that…… I need to be rested for my next adventure.
