Holly walks into Will Rogers International Airport like she owns the place. Not “kind of” owns it — I mean full landlord energy. If the airport had a throne, she’d sit on it. If it had a crown, she’d wear it. If it had a red carpet, she’d demand it be vacuumed before she steps on it.
She trots through the terminal with that “I’m here, please contain your excitement” strut. Employees spot her from across the concourse and light up like someone just told them they’re getting off work early. TSA waves at her. Gate agents call her by name. Even the guys directing the traffic give her a salute.
And the travelers? Oh, they’ve heard of Holly. You can see it in their faces — that moment of recognition like, “Wait… is that THE Holly?” People whisper, point, nudge their family, and suddenly everyone’s acting like they just saw a celebrity doing a surprise airport appearance.
Meanwhile Holly just keeps walking like, “Yes, yes, thank you, I know I’m beautiful. Please form an orderly line.”
A Little Paw-Mail from Holly!
I reported to work like it was just another regular Wednesday night. I know that airport like the back of my paw — honestly, I could run the place if they’d just give me a badge and a tiny walkie‑talkie. So I headed straight in to catch the elevator to the terminal.

And of course… my human tried again to teach me to push the elevator button with my nose.
Absolutely not. Do you know how many humans touch that button? And you want MY nose — my beautiful, treat‑detecting, celebrity‑level nose — to touch it?
No. No way. Not happening.
I am a good dog. I am a helpful dog. I am even a patient dog. But I am not a “press mystery germ button with my face” dog. I draw the line right there.
When we got upstairs, my humans decided to play a little trick on some travelers. They marched me right up to the ticket counter and told the agents they wanted to “check me in.”

So naturally, I hopped up on the scale like a seasoned frequent flyer. Yes, I am still 145 pounds of pure, airport‑certified beauty.
The people behind us absolutely froze. Their mouths dropped open like they were watching a magic show.
“Are they… are they really putting that giant dog on a plane??”
You could see their brains trying to calculate the logistics — Where would I sit? Would I get snacks? Would I get my own row? Would I be allowed to recline?
And honestly… we kept walking toward TSA and CLEAR, so they STILL weren’t sure. I think at least three people genuinely believed I was about to board a flight to Miami.

I got to see my friend at CLEAR — finally! I’ve missed her the last couple of weeks because our schedules didn’t match. You know, celebrity life… very busy… very booked. She was SO excited to see me, and I was excited to see her too. We basically had a reunion moment right there in the middle of the terminal.
Honestly, at this point I should probably be on their payroll. I’m practically part of the staff. I greet travelers, boost morale, and look adorable. CLEAR should at least give me a badge or a tiny vest that says “Employee of the Month (Forever).”
Then it was off to the Military Welcome Center to see my YMCA guys in blue. They’re always busy helping recruits get their paperwork sorted and onto the buses to Fort Sill. And let me tell you — if you work for the government, you ALWAYS have paperwork. Endless paperwork. Paperwork about the paperwork. Paperwork to confirm you filled out the paperwork.
I don’t know how they do it. I’d lose my mind.
I can’t even keep track of my toys, and those don’t require signatures, dates, or three forms of ID.

Next up: cookie judging — the most important part of my shift. Snickerdoodle won my vote today. It had the perfect crumble, the perfect cinnamon‑sugar sparkle, and it spoke to me spiritually.
My human voted for the brownies. Typical. Humans always go for the chocolate.
I can’t have brownies, but ohhhh they looked amazing. I stared at them so hard I was basically trying to telepathically levitate one into my mouth. If cookie‑moving powers existed, I would’ve had that brownie halfway down the hatch.

After my cookie duties, I trotted over to see my friend Vega — and of course she had my pup cup ready like the queen‑level service I deserve. I dove right in, and it was so good I ended up with a full ice cream mustache. Very fashionable. Very dairy‑chic. Honestly, I looked like I was about to star in a yogurt commercial.
There were a LOT of people at the airport tonight. It felt like half the city showed up just to admire me. Everyone wanted to talk to my humans about me — which is fine, but honestly, they could just talk to me directly. I am the star of the show, after all.
Some humans did talk to me, which I appreciate. Others needed hugs — big humans, tiny humans, medium humans, humans who looked like they hadn’t slept since 2012. I hugged them all. I gave out so many hugs I’m pretty sure I should start charging for emotional support services. Maybe set up a little booth: “Holly’s Comfort Station — Hugs, Tail Wags, and Occasional Drool.”

The reservation agents were super busy, so I stepped in to help by handing passengers their boarding passes. I don’t know why they haven’t hired me yet. I’m clearly qualified. I show up on time, I don’t take lunch breaks, and I look adorable in every lighting situation.
And then I started thinking… Maybe I should actually get on a plane...
I mean, I already run the terminal. Why not expand my empire to the sky?
The people ON the plane need me just as much as the people in the terminal. Honestly, they’re probably up there stressed, cramped, hungry, and wondering why pretzels are still considered a meal. Imagine if I could take a short flight, stroll up and down the aisle, give out hugs, calm nervous flyers, and supervise snack distribution. Then I’d just fly back home like, “Thanks everyone, great flight, see you next Wednesday.”
I could help even MORE humans! The airlines should start a test program for flying comfort dogs, and obviously I would be the first one. I think it’s a brilliant idea. My humans should absolutely bring it up.
I’m ready for takeoff. Tail in the upright position!

Eventually it was time to head home. A superstar like me needs her beauty rest — tomorrow I’m going to my human’s work to see all my friends, and I must look flawless.
Good thing my humans took me to get my hair and nails done. I mean, really… a working girl has to look fabulous. You can’t just show up to greet your fans looking like you rolled out of a dog bed.
I take my job seriously. I take my glam even more seriously.
