Friday was a whirlwind. Holly started early at Integris for the Case Management Mental Health meeting, where she basically acted like the guest speaker and made sure everyone got their emotional‑support hugs. Then we swung by the airport because we’re working on getting Holly’s AKC title and needed her hours — she strutted in like she was clocking in for her shift. After that, we headed to Spencer to see Holly’s kids, and she hopped out of the car like she was arriving at a red‑carpet premiere. By the end of the day, Holly had boosted morale at Integris, picked up her hours at the airport, and cheered up her kids in Spencer.
A Little Paw-Mail from Holly!
I woke up Friday ready to work — tail up, paws stretched, fully prepared to change lives. First stop was Integris at 10 a.m. for the Case Management Mental Health meeting. There were hundreds of humans there… and me. Good thing I’m a professional. I provided therapy to the therapists because, trust me, they need love too. They have a hard job, and I’m basically the emotional support CEO.

After I finished running that meeting, my human took me to the airport badging office. Apparently I’m working toward my AKC title — very prestigious stuff. I already have over 200 visits, so I qualify for my Silver Title. Gold is 400 visits, and don’t worry… I’m absolutely on my way. I’m basically an overachiever with fur.

This would just be one more certification to add to my collection. I already have my AKC Canine Good Citizen, my Urban CGC, and my Community Canine titles. At this point, I’m basically the valedictorian of being adorable. If I get one more badge, my vest is going to need its own vest.

Then it was off to Spencer to see my kids! There were several new faces, but I handled it like a pro. I made them comfortable, got them smiling, and then moved through the different wards doing what I do best — spreading joy, leaning dramatically, and making humans happy. I even visited the adult ward because everyone deserves a little Holly magic.

A teenage girl told me she reads all my stories to her family, and they even enjoyed my coloring‑book pictures. I mean… obviously. I look fabulous in crayon. My human is making a whole book about me — as she should — but I think she snuck in a few pictures of Nugget too. Here is a sneak peek. I am sure she will have the whole book ready for download soon.

Nugget is desperate to be included. The other day he tried on my therapy vest like he was auditioning for my job. The vest basically swallowed him whole — he looked like a toddler wearing their parent’s winter coat — but he strutted around the house acting like he was fully certified and ready to report for duty.
Don’t worry, he’s growing. One day the vest might actually fit… or at least stop dragging behind him like a dramatic superhero cape flapping in the wind.
By the end of the day, I had run a whole mental‑health meeting (you’re welcome, humans), worked on my AKC résumé like the overachiever I am, comforted kids, supported adults, and still looked absolutely fabulous. My human handed out stickers, but let’s be honest… I was the real prize. The stickers are just souvenirs from meeting me.
