A Little Paw-Mail from Holly!

My human went on vacation and DID NOT PACK ME. I was shocked. I am clearly essential luggage.
But someone had to stay home with my other human so he wouldn’t get lonely. (He needs supervision. He also needs help finding his socks.)
He and I still had adventures—walks, snacks, and my award‑winning squirrel surveillance—but listen… he is NOT a storyteller. His version of our day was literally: “We went outside.”
Sir. Where is the suspense? The plot twists? The emotional arc?
So I waited for my vacation human to come home so someone could finally narrate my life correctly. When she walked through the door, I gave her my signature Great Pyrenees “I’m ignoring you” look for exactly 0.3 seconds… then my whole body turned into a wiggly noodle.
And let’s be honest: Justice for Holly. Next time, I’m going in the suitcase.

Tonight we went back to the airport, and obviously I strutted in like I owned the entire terminal. The automatic doors opened the instant I approached — because I said “open sesame.”
They obeyed.
As they should.
Royalty was arriving.

I saw all my regular airport friends and collected a whole new batch of admirers. First stop: the reservation desk. Then TSA to see Aaron. We missed Daisey tonight, but I still trotted into the Military Welcome Center for my extremely serious, highly professional duty — cookie judging.
And tonight’s champion? Chocolate chip!
Yes, I know I’m not supposed to have chocolate, but my humans gave me teeny‑tiny pieces with basically zero chocolate and maximum cookie. I consider it a medical exemption.

Then we zoomed over to the gates because we had to see Vega before she closed. My humans keep saying I’m spoiled, but I prefer the term special — like… the airport staff has a whole protocol just for me.
Vega ALWAYS has a pup cup ready for me, and tonight she even delivered it straight to me like airport DoorDash.
Have you ever heard of DoorDash? Humans invented a system where snacks magically appear at their door. Incredible. Revolutionary. I fully support it.
Anyway, Vega basically DoorDashed me a pup cup. I mean… come on.
I’m not just VIP — I’m V.I.Pyr.

We looped back to see Aaron again — last week he shared his chicken dinner with me, so obviously he’s one of my besties. Anyone who hands over chicken earns instant VIP status.

Then it was time to meet travelers. Four little kids came running over, so I flopped down like a fluffy red carpet to make petting easier. I had a few photo ops too — parents LOVE taking pictures with me. I don’t blame them. I make everyone smile, and honestly, I should start charging a modeling fee.
A couple stopped us to ask if I was getting on the plane and how I would even fit. (Rude. I fit anywhere I decide to fit.) My humans explained I haven’t flown yet, but I have been on a plane during an event for autistic children learning how to board.
One little boy asked if I ever get scared. My human told him if he gave me a big hug, I wouldn’t be scared — so he wrapped his arms around me like a tiny emotional support burrito and whispered in my ear, “I’m not scared now either.”
Then he took my leash and walked me onto the plane like he’d been doing it his whole life. My tail almost wagged itself into orbit.
Afterward we stopped by to visit my friends at Osteria — because obviously I must greet my loyal subjects — and then headed home so my human could finish my Halloween costume. It’s very important work. I supervise.
Tomorrow I’m off to Boeing to visit the employees, and Friday I’ll be at the Children’s Hospital Halloween party handing out candy like the world’s fluffiest volunteer. My humans even made special decorations for my hallway spot because, well… I’m the main attraction.
I’ll be back tomorrow with another adventure. Good night from your favorite airport princess.
